what we do
My confidence as a leader has grown, my personal development accelerated and ultimately my department is responding, becoming more effective in the work they do.

Life Coaching and Leadership Development is offered by Dr Charlotte von Bülow.
"I have worked as a consultant and executive leadership coach for over a decade and continue to support the professional and personal growth and development of leaders and change makers. I am a CMI Chartered Manager, a social entrepreneur and have held executive roles since 2008.
My approach to life coaching and leadership development is anchored in real-life experience - it is holistic, effective and emergent. I work with you to shape and co-create the road as we walk it and, on the way, we turn every stone that needs turning. Over the years, I have specialised in the following areas, among others -
Self-leadership for personal and professional transformation
Deep organisational change
Transformative leadership and management coaching
Coaching for teams and groups
There is so much more to say about the work, but really you need to dive in and experience it. You will find examples of what clients have said here."

We design courses, programmes and processes that support students to bring their learning into their lives, and to have their life experience inform their learning.
By offering courses on our Virtual Learning Platform, students can easily bring study, research and enquiry into their own active personal and professional lives.
We offer residential learning to facilitate processes of encounter and enrichment through face-to-face lectures/seminars, situated activities, and dialogue with colleagues and faculty.
Our philosophy and examples of what we have done is summarised on our home page.
Currently, we are delivering a series of research modules designed for psychotherapy students. An overview is available here.

Egil Boisen, PhD, is the founder of Turning Point Academic Coaching.
"Do you ever feel stuck, overwhelmed, and completely out of synch with whatever you need to do? This might be because you have stepped out of your comfort zone - and that is exactly what true learning is all about. The problem is that you may start to feel restless, on the edge, irritated by things that wouldn’t normally bother you. You may find it difficult to concentrate or to remember things. You may feel like running in sand, while others are not, and slowly start to worry that you are falling behind. This is when you need to pause and reflect – to allow yourself to take your time.
Turning Point Academic Coaching helps you meet your challenges head-on, right now. We help you to nurture your academic skills and your personal growth - all at the same time.
As the founder of Turning Point, I want to tell you what inspired me to offer this work - click here to read my story."

We design systems that give the foundations for clarity and transparency. This could involve creating benchmark statements or competency frameworks, staff development and training, or quality standards for a product or process. Using our ‘action-based learning’ approach, we specialise in developing bespoke quality systems that are in harmony with the unique vision and values of your organisation.
